Article I – Dues
Annual dues for active members of the Association shall be $8 per $1000 of salary (.008). Of this amount, $1 (.001) of the annual dues shall be set aside for the legal assistance fund.
Annual dues for associate members of the Association shall be $450, payable at the beginning of the membership year.
Honorary members shall pay no dues.
Annual dues for retired members of the Association shall be $50, payable at the beginning of each membership year.
Annual dues for the partnership program, which replaces the former school service members of the Association shall be Bronze ($2,000); Gold ($7,750); or Premier ($12,500).
Article II – Official and Fiscal Year
The membership year shall begin August 1 and extend through July 31 of the following year.
The fiscal year shall begin January 1 and extend through December 31 of the following year.
Article III – Rules of Order
Roberts Rules of Order shall govern in all business meetings of the Association.
Article IV – Amendments to Bylaws
Amendments to these Bylaws may be made at any regular or special meeting of the Association by a majority vote of the active membership in attendance at a meeting of the general membership, or by a majority vote by mail of the general membership provided notice of such amendment shall have been given through the Executive Director to all members of the organization at least 30 days before balloting.
