Duties: The Pickerington Local School District seeks qualified applicants for several full time Instructional Technology Coordinators. Candidates must exhibit strong leadership, communication and innovative technology skills.

Job Goal:
To build capacity for innovative and effective use of instructional and administrative technology in support of the mission and goals of the Pickerington Local School District and its various departments and schools.

Experience Required: Qualifications:
Valid Ohio teaching certificate/licensure
Valid Ohio administrator certification/licensure or currently working towards licensure
Valid OTES certification or ability to earn OTES certification
Minimum of 3 years successful classroom teaching eperience
Skills in collecting, analyzing and using data
Experience using and supporting student information system software
Knowledge of equity issues including Average Yearly Progress, achievement gap and value added
Demonstrated ability to model the effective use of instructional technology
Knowledge of state professional development standards and instructional research
And/or alternatves or addtional qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
Required Skills and Abilities:
Communication Skills: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret information relevant to the position, including being
able to speak effectively to small and large groups of people and to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and
in writing. Bilingual - English and Spanish preferred
Leadership Ability: Must be able to articulate a vision and mission for the district and provide the appropriate direction,
guidance and management skills to achieve them
Mathematical Skills: Must have the ability to work with basic mathematical and computational concepts
Reasoning Ability: Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Technology Skills: Able to effectively use, as it applies to your specific job function, typical office applications and
computer programs such as word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations; must be able to use email

Wage or Salary: Based on Expertise
