Finding Leaders in partnership with OASBO is assisting the Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools in seeking qualified applicants for the position of treasurer/CFO. This Central Office position reports directly to the Board of Education and is responsible for all financial matters for the district including but not limited to the following:
Oversee the financial operation of the Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools
State and federal reporting
Promotion of student learning and achievement
Fiscal leader and manager
Develop the Five-Year Forecast and the annual budget
Communicator and collaborator
Participates in shared district leadership
Utilizes data-based decision-making
The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of the State of Ohio standards and system of accountability. This financial leader will have opportunities to participate in collaborative decision making focusing on improving student performance leading to academic excellence.
Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools offers a competitive salary and fringe benefit package. Candidates must be available to begin employment as soon as possible but not later than earlier that August 1, 2019.

At least a Bachelor’s Degree or higher with specific emphasis in accounting, finance and management of district finances
Appropriate Ohio Treasurer’s Certificate/License
Successful treasurer experience
Knowledge of state, local funding and Ohio laws and regulations
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a member of an administrative team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to create and maintain an atmosphere of respect and trust
